MyCaliforniaPermit.com Drivers Ed is the first step in the drivers license process and is necessary to receive a learner's permit. This online course is equivalent to 30 hours of classroom instruction. Students who successfully complete this course will receive an official DMV Certificate of Completion of Driver Education, mailed directly to their home.
* The DMV Certificate of Completion is a required document that you need in order to take the learner’s permit test at DMV. This test is given for teenagers that are between the ages of 15½ and 17½. You will need to schedule this test directly with DMV. Once you obtain your learners permit at DMV, you may then schedule behind-the-wheel drivers training, which is not included in this online program.
