Thanksgiving Break
November 19-23, 2018

***Flip Flop Friday***

1:14 PM release Friday, November 16th

Annual Turkey Drive

Every year during Thanksgiving, the Emergency Food Bank of Stockton gives away approximately 2,300 boxes of food (complete with everything needed to make a Thanksgiving meal) to needy families in our area.  Last year, the LUSD Public Safety Department organized a turkey drive and donated over 40 turkeys. This year we are organizing the same drive, and we would love to include the entire district! We are inviting everyone to purchase one or more frozen turkeys with hopes of collecting more than 100.
If you would like to donate, we will be accepting turkey donations starting Friday, November 9th-16th at Village Oaks Center, 6225 Harrisburg Pl.

If you have any questions please feel free to email Officer Fernando Zapien at fzapien@lusd.net or call him at (209) 953-8911.

Thank You Kindly,

LUSD Public Safety Department
