Help Desk Guidelines:
1. The Help Desk will be used for technical problems that can be solved over the phone or via remote connection within 10 minutes or less.
2. If a tech determines that your problem cannot be solved within 10 minutes, they will instruct you to complete a work order for service. Please keep in mind that your work order will be placed in our standard work order queue.
3. If the Help Desk line goes to voice mail, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.
You are not required to use the Help Desk. If you prefer, you can go straight to our work order system by visiting our portal page (portal.lusd.net) and choosing “Technology Work Request”.
The IT Help Desk will be available Monday – Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The Help Desk will be closed for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00.
